The Titanic Dinner Event allows you to participate in "one of the most famous dinner parties in history"

On April 15, 1912 the most impressive ship of its era sank in the freezing waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. The largest luxury liner ever created never completed its maiden voyage. The "unsinkable" Titanic slipped under the water taking over 1500 of her passengers to their tragic deaths.

The Titanic Dinner Event allows you to participate in "one of the most famous dinner parties in history" where costumed actors entertain your small group at a recreation of the final dinner before the tragic sinking.
The Titanic Dinner Event in held within the Titanic: The Experience museum which houses actual artifacts from the ship's current home on the floor of the Atlantic. In addition to the actual recovered artifacts, there are full-scale recreations of famous Titanic rooms including her Grand Staircase, First Class Parlor Suite, Boilers, and the Promenade Deck "where you can walk out and feel the chill of the cold Atlantic air as you gaze at the stars."
The Titanic Dinner Event begins in the lobby. Guests are suggested to arrive between 7:00 and 7:15. After checking in, each guest receives a replica of a Boarding Pass from an actual Titanic Passenger. After receiving a Boarding Pass, guests are ushered to a photographer who shoots several Titanic themed souvenir photos that can be purchased later if desired.
Around 7:45, costumed actors gather the guests and lead them into the exhibit. The actors portray famous Titanic notables such as Captain Smith, the unsinkable Molly Brown, ship's architect Thomas Andrews, and the wealthy George and Eleanor Widenor.
The actor portraying the Titanic's architect Thomas Andrews leads the guests through some of the most interesting recreations of Titanic rooms explaining their design and history. The exhibit also contains deck chairs found floating in the water after the tragedy, a champagne bottle recovered from the site, framed menus from the ship, clothing, silverware, dishes, and signed postcards.
Eventually, everyone is guided into a dining room where George and Eleanor Widener are hosting a party for Captain Smith. At dinner, Molly Brown sings and the Wideners, Captain Smith and Andrews mingle with guests at each table.
The Titanic Dinner Event menu includes:
Complimentary water, iced tea and coffee are served and other beverages can be purchased at additonal cost.
Soon Captain Smith and Thomas Andrews receive the news that the ship has struck an iceberg. Guests are led to the ship's bridge and onto the deck complete with a starlit sky. Women and children guests pretend to be led away to board lifeboats while the men are left behind on the deck to help us understand the tragedy faced by the real Titanic passengers.
The men and women are eventually gathered together in a room with a lighted list of both the survivors and the victims of the tragic sinking. Guests are asked to look at their Boarding Passes and gather quietly to search the wall to see if their Boarding Pass holds the name of a survivor or victim.
Another educational and somber moment comes when guests view the most chilling exhibit - a car-sized chunk of ice. Guests are invited to place their hands on the ice for as long as they can while the Captain Smith describes the pain and shock the victims must have felt as they fell into water colder than the ice the guests have their hands pressed against.
The exhibit ends as guests are ushered into the gift shop where various memorabilia can be purchased including lumps of coal recovered from the sunken ship.
