St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
A great way to see Charlotte Amalie's best views comfortably and affordably
by Steven Skelley & Thomas Routzong
The island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands is known around the world for some of the most beautiful beaches and bays anywhere on the planet. Godfrey Tours in Charlotte Amalie offers a great way to see some of the island's best views comfortably and affordably.
We asked Godfrey Renal, owner and operator of Godfrey Tours why his tours are unique. “What makes us special? Our goal is always the complete satisfaction of our customers. We have been doing this for seventeen years and we have many repeat customers who come back again and again because they have enjoyed our tours so very much.”
Godfrey led our tour himself and drove our comfortable, open-air bus through the city streets, up the mountains and down to the beaches skillfully. He has a thorough knowledge of the most popular sights and the most beautiful views. As an added bonus, Godfrey carries a cooler of ice-cold water and beverages which he offers free to his
customers.
Our tour began downtown on the waterfront where travelers can enjoy a variety of
restaurants, jewelry shops, souvenir shops and a large flea market. Godfrey offers his customers a choice of one, two or three hours of shopping time.
Godfrey offers several tours which make stops at or have scenic views of Bluebeard's Castle, Blackbeard's Castle, Hassel Island, Water Island, St. Croix, Magen's Bay, Coki Point, Sapphire Beach, Coral World, Mountain Top, the Botanical Garden of St. Peter Great House and Sir Francis Drake's Seat.
While others on our tour visited Coral World, we chose to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water of the stunningly beautiful Coki Beach.
If you are looking for an affordable tour in St. Thomas, Godfrey Tours is a good option.
